I originally came up with the concept of the Judd Apatow theme 'Bromance.' I was in high school, and I always tried to express how I thought Jason Schwarztman of Rushmore was the coolest dude. He was in a band! And cool movies! You'll have to understand this is pre-Phantom Planet's 'California' being the theme song to The OC (also, it is pre cool-indie-hipster as an idea, as it is pre-Adam Brody's 'Seth Cohen', absolutely!)

I just thought he was a cool dude!

I crafted the name 'Dude Crush,' but noone in my high school of 600 thought it was acceptable behavior at all.
